Canadian Tourism Awards
The Canadian Tourism Awards are presented annually by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) to recognize success, leadership, and innovation in Canada's tourism industry, and to reward those people, places, organizations, and events that have gone above and beyond to offer travellers superior tourism experiences in Canada.
The Canadian Tourism Awards have become the standard of excellence for businesses and organizations in the travel industry, showcasing the nation's best tourism products, services, and experiences.
This year, TIAC’s 2023 Canadian Tourism Awards will take place November 22 at the Westin Ottawa.
Culinary Tourism Alliance Culinary Tourism Experience Award
The Culinary Tourism Alliance is pleased to sponsor the Culinary Tourism Experience Award at the 2023 Tourism Congress in Ottawa. The award will be presented to the tourism business or organization that delivers an authentic consumer experience showcasing Canadian food and beverage. Wherever possible, please support your answers with statistical information and evidence to show the impact of the experience.
The judging criteria in this category are:
Demonstrates innovation in showcasing authentic culinary experiences in their region/destination (25%)
Exemplifies Canada as an international culinary destination (25%)
Promotes quality Canadian food or drink products (25%)
Contribution in promoting regional culinary tourism experiences (25%)
