Zain Alkhouri is the Marketing Officer at the Culinary Tourism Alliance (CTA), where he drives brand awareness and digital engagement across the Ontario Culinary and Canada Culinary platforms. He supports strategy and execution across social media, blogs, and digital campaigns, connecting with an audience of more than 30,000 followers nationwide. For more than three years, Zain has led marketing, brand, and design efforts for CTA’s flagship Taste of Place Summit, shaping its visual identity, digital presence, and on-site experience.
Zain is also an on-camera personality for CTA, bringing culinary tourism stories to life through interviews, event coverage, and video features. His role extends into conference and event marketing, where he contributes creative direction, stage management, and on-site brand activations that strengthen partner visibility and audience experience.
Before joining CTA, Zain worked with SiriusXM Canada in Canadian Content Development as a social media correspondent, host, and producer at international music festivals across the country. He also supported events and communications at Toronto Metropolitan University, building a foundation in corporate communications, content development, and large-scale event coordination.
A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University with a degree in Media Production, Zain’s work is grounded in storytelling, digital strategy, and design. Drawing from his Palestinian-Jordanian heritage, he values food, art, and culture as powerful tools for connection. Outside of his marketing work, he is also a singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, bringing creativity and performance into every project he leads.
